Genital Wart Removal
The presence of genital warts can be uncomfortable, embarrassing and in extreme cases can impede sexual function. Genital warts also called Condyloma Acuminata secondary to some types of Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) can cause cancer of the uterine cervix.
Genital warts often destroy relationships. Fortunately Dr. Rahaman can remove them quickly in his office and at an affordable cost. A free personal consultation with the physician will include specific medical evaluation and expected outcomes. Home treatment with topical preparations sold on the internet like creams and liquids are generally not effective and can often cause damage to normal skin.
Dr. Rahaman removes genital warts by electrodessication. He has over 25 years experience with this procedure to treat genital warts including vaginal warts, penile and anal warts. The outcomes of his treatment, patient satisfaction and cost of service are among the best in Central Florida. Electrodessication using local anesthesia has little discomfort and can be completed in one visit in most cases depending on the patient’s individual needs.

Skin Tag Removal
Dr. Rahaman specializes in removing acrochorda (singular acrochordon) more commonly known as skin tags. These benign dermatological lesions are most commonly removed for cosmetic reasons, when they become uncomfortable or inflamed. They commonly occur on the eyelids, neck, armpits (axillae), upper chest, and groin. Similar looking skin tags called DPN (dermatosis papulosa nigra) are more common in darkly pigmented persons (including African Americans) and occur especially on the face and neck. Dr. Rahaman removes both types of benign skin tags by electrodessication, also known as electro-cauterization or diathermy because of outstanding results achieved with this technique. This procedure has little discomfort with the application of a topical anesthetic cream prior to treatment. He has had 25 years experience treating these skin problems with excellent outcomes.
Dr. Rahaman also specializes in mole (nevus) removal and has successfully removed both flat and raised moles with little to no scarring. This procedure is completed during a short office visit via excision or electrodessication. There is no downtime.
